Exploring facets of the night through a range of styles spanning nearly 500 years, the album includes the world premiere recording of Daniel Kidane's Be Still, Schönberg’s Transfigured Night and new arrangements Richard Strauss’s Metamorphosen and madrigals by Maddalena Casulana and Carlo Gesualdo.
