We return to Scotland with performances in partnership with The Night With…, this time in string quartet format performing a programme featuring a new work from Scottish composer Aileen Sweeney exploring her combined interests of contemporary classical music and Scottish traditional music alongside the beautifully spectral Quartet No. 2 by Austrian Composer Georg Friedrich Haas. The programme also features music by Matthew Whiteside, Caroline Shaw and Ivan Skender, as well as a new work from the Emerging Composer scheme. In the run-up to the tour, we will work with 5 young composers from the scheme.
